What is an infographic? If you don't know, go look it up. Read about it and then in your own words tell me what an infographic is. What do infographics do? How do they work? What makes a really good infographic?

An infographic is an image used to represent data. Infographics present information to people in an interesting way. They work by being creative and pleasant to look at. A good infographic is made with a good graphic and interesting data.

What are your favorite apps on your phone or tablet? Why?

My favorite app on my phone is easily snapchat. I pick up all the babes with it which is one reason. Another reason is because my snapchat game is straight fire. It is one of the only apps I use because it is the only one that isn’t useless. If I was trapped on an island and could only have one thing I would choose snapchat.

What is email? When do you use email in your own personal life? List reasons and ways that people use email. What do you know about "email etiquette"?

Email is an ancient form of communication. Few people use emails today. I imagine the kinds of people that use it are substitute teachers and parole officers. People use emails to create accounts on stuff. I know nothing about this so called “email etiquette”.

Do you enjoy writing? When do you enjoy it? What kind of writing do you enjoy? Why do you think the ability to write is so important no matter what kind of writing it is? Give an example that you enjoyed writing or hated writing. Why?

I enjoy writing very much; I enjoy all kinds of writing all the time. The ability to write is important because it is the ability to tell a story and to communicate, if you cannot write well there are many things that you will struggle with. I enjoy writing for fun and telling a story because you can really get creative and do whatever you want to do and tell a story how you want it to be told.

Reflect on this quote. Give an example of a time in your life that this might have been the case.

An example of this quote in my life is studying for a math test. I had a math test and I failed to prepare, and I did not know at the time that I was preparing to fail. I did very poorly on the test and should have studied. In order to succeed at something you must put in the work and if you don’t you will fail.

What is the importance of research? Why do you need to know how to research? What have you learned in high school about researching topics and finding quality resources? Have you had a helpful teacher that has taught you to research? Explain.

Research is important so you can back up your opinions. You need to know how to research so you can do well on work and be accurate. I have learned that it is important to use reliable resources so your information is accurate and your opinions will have good evidence. I think that all of my teachers have helped me in different ways. They have all told me different ways of researching and finding evidence.

Tell me about the global issue you selected. What do you already know about the issue? What are you looking forward to learning about it? Explain.

The global issue that I selected is anti-American sentiment. I know that many other countries have it but I do not really know why. I would like to understand why other countries are this way. If I knew why they felt certain ways then I could try to help solve the issue.

PSA

Wednesday September 3, 2014

Blog Post of the Day:
Yesterday I asked your to "think differently" and push yourself to be uncommon with your PSA project using Google Slides. Why do you think I asked you to do that? What is the point? Why not just use bullets and headers? Explain.

I think that you asked us to do this presentation differently so all of the PSA's would be different. It is boring to sit through the same thing all class and if everyone tries new things they will be more interesting. Another reason is so we can learn new features and become better at using Google slides.

Tell me all about your Labor Day weekend. What did you do? Include photos!

This weekend I had football practice Friday, Saturday, And Sunday so I was pretty busy. After practice on Friday I went to the soccer game where I ran into the Jay Karner, to say it was amazing would be a severe understatement. On Saturday and Sunday I hung out with some friends. We went to McDonalds. While there I ran into TJ Earnshaw, we chilled with him for a while, it was a wild night. All in all it was a beautiful weekend.
